The Quick Detach Post or QDP is OBi's most straightforward and toolless post. The QDP attaches to any flush cup, whether it is on your rifle, camera cage, or any other piece of kit you may want to connect to your backpack. Insert into the flush cup hole, depress the brass ball on the front with your thumb, and push. To remove, place the post between your forefingers, depress the brass ball, and pull out.

The QDP now comes in different lengths to match your setup:
- Standard — 0.8-inches body length
- Extended — 1.3-inches body length
The Extended variant gives you added clearance, improved reach, and smoother access around larger stocks, chassis, cages, or bulky gear without changing how the QDP operates. Same toolless function, same secure lockup, just more length where you need it.
